Count me in for an aperitivo any day of the week. I love a bitter and effervescent cocktail and I'll take it anyway it's served, up, on the rocks or tall. This is the perfect drink for a languid summer evening.
makes 1 cocktail
- 2 fl oz bitter aperitif (Campari, Aperol, Contratto or Aecorn for NA)
- soda water
- orange slices
- green olive
Pour the bitter aperitif over ice in a rocks or wine glass, squeeze just a touch of orange juice in the glass. Top with soda water. Garnish with an orange slice and a green olive.
