WHITE NEGRONI
Whether I'm home with my partner, or a group of friends I always start the evening with an Aperitivo. In Italy, Aperitivo is a daily ritual, marking the end of the day, the drinks are designed to whet your palette, and always served with a salty snack. This recipe for a White Negroni is a lighter and floral cousin to the bold and bitter Classic Negroni – it still has lemony bitterness from the Suze, a gentian liqueur from France.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 oz London Dry Gin
- .75 oz Cocchi Americano
- .5 oz Blanc Vermouth
- Lemon or Grapefruit peel for garnish
Build in a rocks glass over ice, stir and garnish with citrus peel.
